CME Group names Jack Tobin as next CFO in March 2027 transition
Jack Tobin will be promoted to chief financial officer effective March 2027 and is slated to become deputy CFO in November 2026.
Tobin has been chief accounting officer since 2015 and joined CME Group in 2002, overseeing accounting, corporate development and finance. He was previously a PwC consultant.
Matthew Render has been appointed chief accounting officer. He joined as deputy chief accounting officer in August 2026 and previously worked at Citadel, BP and Ernst & Young.
John Marchese has been promoted to general counsel. He has served as managing director and associate general counsel for litigation and IT since 2024 and joined the company in 2011.
Marchese will replace Jonathan Marcus later this month. Marcus has served as general counsel since 2022.
