CN posted Q2 diluted EPS of C$2.06, up 10% year over year, as revenue rose 11% to C$4.75 billion.
Operating income climbed 9% to C$1.78 billion, while the operating ratio widened 0.8 percentage points to 62.5%.
RTMs increased 5% to 62,250 million, driven primarily by grain and energy products.
Full-year guidance
CN raised 2026 guidance, now forecasting low single-digit RTM growth and mid-to-high single-digit adjusted diluted EPS growth.
