CN, Union Pacific sign MOU to expand rail operating rights across North America

CN signed a binding memorandum of understanding with Union Pacific to strengthen North American rail service.
Expanded operating rights on key corridors
- Union Pacific will gain expanded operating rights on CN’s EJ&E corridor around Chicago to improve routing through the region.
- CN will receive new operating rights on Union Pacific lines between Memphis and Eagle Pass to support Canada–Mexico freight moves.
