Co-Diagnostics Secures Five-Year Exclusive PCR Pro Distribution Deal in Mexico
CODX•Co-Diagnostics signed a five-year exclusive distribution agreement with its longtime Mexican partner to commercialize the Co-Dx PCR Pro instrument and associated test kits across Mexico. The partner generated over $18 million in Logix Smart PCR revenue since 2020 and deployed more than half of Mexico’s COVID-19 PCR tests through 2021.
1. Exclusive Distribution Agreement
Co-Diagnostics and its longstanding Mexican partner extended their collaboration by five years, granting exclusive rights to distribute the Co-Dx PCR Pro instrument and associated test kits across Mexico. This deal solidifies the partner’s role in future deployment of the company’s point-of-care molecular diagnostics platform.
2. Historical Partnership Performance
Since 2020, the partner has generated over $18 million in revenue from Logix Smart PCR tests and supplied more than 50% of all COVID-19 PCR tests performed in Mexico through 2021. These figures underscore the partner’s strong market presence and ability to drive adoption of Co-Diagnostics’ technologies.
3. Commercialization Strategy and Next Steps
The agreement advances Co-Diagnostics’ strategy to expand its Latin American footprint ahead of the Co-Dx PCR platform’s market launch, which remains subject to regulatory review. The company plans to leverage its expanding menu of assays—including tuberculosis, HPV, mpox, H5N1 and an Ebola test—in point-of-care settings once approvals are secured.
