Co-Diagnostics entered a collaboration with ReadyGo Diagnostics to evaluate blood-based molecular testing at the point of need, starting with Ebola.
Work targets compatibility between ReadyGo’s GoCollect blood sample-prep system and the Co-Dx PCR platform for decentralized outbreak detection.
Successful blood sample support could expand the platform beyond swabs into larger markets such as HIV and hepatitis B and C testing.
Feasibility testing has begun, with Co-Diagnostics taking delivery of ReadyGo devices and materials for workflow integration evaluation.
