LIMA, Aug. 4 (Reuters) - Coca-Cola KO.N and a local unit of Mexican bottler Arca Continental AC.MX are set to invest $1 billion in Peru over the next five years, the firms said on Tuesday.
The funds will go toward expanding and modernizing production, distribution and market-service infrastructure, while also increasing cold-chain capacity and returnable packaging, the two companies said in a joint statement.
