Coca-Cola Q2 EPS, rev seen rising
KO•Recent guidance and production update
** In April on reporting its Q1 results KO raised its annual adjusted profit forecast as it bet on steady demand for its pricier beverages and sodas in key markets such as the United States. KO said unlikely to see material impact from cyberattack on its dairy company, Fairlife. On Monday it announced resumption of most of the production at four impacted U.S. facilities where operations were halted due to the attack.
Stock performance, analyst view and options move
** Stock last traded at $83.85 vs median PT of $88, according to LSEG, which shows 27 analyst ratings: 5 'strong buy,' 16 'buy,' and 6 'hold'
** YTD KO shares up ~20% vs gain of ~8% for Dow industrials .DJI
** KO options imply a 3.0% swing for the shares, in either direction, on Tues, according to options analytics service ORATS; that's higher than the stock's 1.9% 12-qtr avg post-earnings move over the last 12 qtrs
Wall Street expects higher second-quarter profit and revenue
** Shares in Coca-Cola KO.N up 1.9% on Monday ahead of quarterly report due out before market open on Tuesday
** Wall Street sees the soft drinks co reporting Q2 adj EPS of $0.93 vs $0.87 in Q2 2025 on rev of $13.16 bln, which would be ~4% higher than year-ago rev of $12.62 bln, as per LSEG data
** In last 8 quarters, EPS beat the Street every time while rev met or beat expectations seven times
