Cohen & Steers Hits $1B Active ETF AUM with $189M Energy ETF Listing
CSRE•Cohen & Steers expanded its active ETF platform above $1 billion by listing its $189 million Future of Energy Active ETF, joining Real Estate Active ETF (CSRE) among five total offerings. This development boosts Cohen & Steers’ real asset platform scale and could enhance visibility and trading volume for CSRE shares.
1. Conversion of Future of Energy Fund to ETF
Cohen & Steers completed the conversion of the Cohen & Steers Future of Energy Fund (MLOIX) into the actively managed Future of Energy Active ETF (CSEN) on June 15, 2026, listing it on Nasdaq with $189 million in assets under management and investing across traditional and renewable energy sectors.
2. Expansion of Active ETF Platform
With CSEN’s launch, Cohen & Steers’ suite of actively managed real asset and alternative income ETFs—including Real Estate Active ETF (CSRE)—surpassed $1 billion in total AUM, reinforcing platform scale and potentially driving greater liquidity and investor interest in CSRE.
