Collective Mining joins Colombia community solar project for Guamal Afro-Colombian community in Caldas

The project aims to cut household power costs, create local jobs, support community energy management, generate surplus-power revenue and reduce emissions.
Partners include the Guamal Community Council, Caldas Governor’s Office, CorpoCaldas and the municipality of Supía.
The company framed the initiative as a model for expanding renewable access to other communities in Caldas.

Collective Mining joined a community-scale solar project under Colombia’s Energy Communities program for the Guamal Afro-Colombian community in Supía, Caldas.
Planned installation totals about 600 kWp, targeting roughly 2,000 residents across 420 households.
