Colliers acquired Progedil, Rome’s leading residential asset advisor with a 35-year history and over 27,000 commercialized units valued at €6.5 billion. The transaction closed on March 2, 2026 and adds 75 professionals in Rome and Lazio, with Progedil’s senior leadership retaining significant equity.
2. Strategic Expansion
The acquisition enhances Colliers’ capacity in urban regeneration and new-build development across Italy, leveraging joint experience from 2,400 completed transactions over a three-year collaboration to accelerate growth in residential advisory and brokerage services.
3. Management and Integration
Niccolò Suardi transitions to lead the Advisory & Transaction team in Rome while retaining his role as Head of Retail, Italy. Progedil’s CEO Marco Barile and Managing Director Francesco Procopio continue day-to-day operations, with founder Giuseppe Barile as senior advisor to drive integration and client solutions.
