Collins Aerospace Secures Five Systems Contracts for MV-75 Assault Aircraft
Collins Aerospace, an RTX business, secured multiple contracts from Bell Textron to deliver five critical systems for the U.S. Army’s MV-75 Future Long Range Assault Aircraft. Production across seven states supports the Army’s next-generation rotorcraft, which doubles current fleet speed and range.
1. Contract Award and Scope
RTX’s Collins Aerospace has been awarded multiple contracts by Bell Textron to deliver five critical systems for the U.S. Army’s MV-75 Future Long Range Assault Aircraft. These systems leverage Collins’ military-grade commercial technology and ready-now manufacturing capabilities to accelerate delivery and sustainment.
2. Advanced Aircraft Capabilities
The MV-75 FLRAA represents the Army’s first clean-sheet rotorcraft in a generation, delivering twice the speed and range of the current fleet. Its design incorporates digital engineering and a modular open systems approach to maximize efficiency and flexibility over its lifecycle.
3. Production Footprint and Timeline
Work on the five systems will be performed in Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, New York, Ohio and West Virginia. Collins Aerospace’s global service network will support urgent delivery, modernization and sustainment of the MV-75 over the next 50 years.
