Steven M. Klein, the company’s COO, was appointed to the risk, operations and strategic planning, and technology committees.
Amended 8-K updates committee roles for new directors
Columbia Financial filed an amended 8-K to update board committee assignments for four directors added in connection with the Northfield Bancorp merger.
The merger closed July 20, 2026, triggering the directors’ appointments; the initial 8-K had not yet set committee roles.
