Columbia Financial Q2 FY26 net income rises 17.7% to $14.5 million

Columbia Financial posted Q2 net income of USD 14.5 million, up 17.7% year over year; EPS rose to USD 0.14 from USD 0.12.
Net interest income climbed 17.2% to USD 62.9 million; net interest margin widened 25 basis points to 2.44%.
Assets, deposits and dividend update
Total assets grew 10.5% to USD 12.2 billion since Dec. 31; deposits increased 11.4% to USD 9.5 billion.
The board declared a quarterly cash dividend of USD 0.05 per share, payable Aug. 26; July second-step conversion raised USD 1.7 billion, and the Northfield deal added about USD 5.8 billion in assets.
Credit losses and expenses increased
Provision for credit losses rose 74.7% to USD 4.3 million; non-interest expense increased 10% to USD 49.4 million.
