Public-private funding supports the project
The project is funded through a public-private partnership with Florida’s Broadband Opportunity Program and Capital Projects Fund.
Broadband service expands in Highlands County
Comcast expanded Xfinity and Comcast Business service availability to more than 4,000 homes and businesses in Highlands County, Florida, including 1,800 previously unserved.
The network build-out targets more than 1,200 additional locations, with completion expected by the end of 2026.
