Comcast’s Xfinity launched Xfinity Membership, offering eligible customers weekly perks, special discounts and VIP event access—including tickets to Feb. 5–7 BAHC Live! concerts—with no enrollment or extra fees. 1. Xfinity Membership Launches Enhanced Loyalty Program

Comcast’s Xfinity today introduced Xfinity Membership, a tiered loyalty experience providing automatic status at no extra cost or enrollment. Status is determined by service count and tenure: Silver for new or single-service customers, Gold for those with over one year or two services, Platinum for over five years or three services, and Diamond for over ten years or four-plus services. More than 30% of former Xfinity Rewards members are being upgraded to a higher tier immediately. Members gain weekly entertainment perks (such as free movie giveaways and $1 rentals), ongoing discounts (including complimentary Peacock Premium for eligible members), and exclusive experiences, all accessible via the Xfinity app. The program debuts with the BAHC Live! Concert Series in San Francisco—featuring Benson Boone, Martin Garrix and Chris Stapleton—with complimentary VIP ticket access, sweepstakes for hosted trips, and surprise onsite upgrades to the Xfinity Club Cortina lounge.

2. New Xfinity Store Opens in South DeKalb

On January 16, Comcast celebrated the opening of its Xfinity Store at 3910 Flat Shoals Parkway, South DeKalb, Atlanta, featuring a ribbon-cutting attended by local officials and community members. The interactive retail space showcases Xfinity Internet multi-gig speeds and WiFi PowerBoost, Xfinity Mobile plans with up to half-price savings in year one, X1 video and voice-remote demonstrations, and Xfinity Home Solutions for security and automation. Comcast Business experts are on site to consult on networking, cybersecurity and managed services. The store operates Monday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Sunday from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, expanding Xfinity’s retail footprint alongside the nearby Tucker location to enhance local access to products and support.

3. David Shaw Named Head of Global Expansion for Universal Ads

Comcast’s Universal Ads platform has appointed David Shaw as Head of Global Expansion, tasking him with leading the international rollout of the ad-buying and measurement service. In his new role, Shaw will oversee market entry strategy, scale-up operations across Europe, Asia and Latin America, and build a global sales and support organization. He will also manage talent acquisition for regional leadership, and coordinate with NBCUniversal content teams to secure premium video inventory for advertisers as Universal Ads seeks to broaden its footprint beyond the initial U.S. launch.

4. Epic Universe Drives Theme Park Segment Growth in Q3

Comcast’s Orlando theme park segment reported a 19% increase in revenue and a 13% rise in adjusted EBITDA during the first full quarter of Epic Universe operations. Despite mixed customer reviews on ride reliability and crowd management, the new park contributed to overall segment growth even as Comcast’s cable and broadband divisions saw declines. For the quarter, consolidated revenue fell by 3%, net income decreased 5%, and adjusted EBITDA contracted 1%. Theme parks account for approximately 9% of Comcast’s total revenue and 10% of its adjusted EBITDA, highlighting their growing—but still modest—role in offsetting declines in legacy businesses.
