The 5% stock dividend is payable December 22, 2026, to shareholders of record at the close of business on December 1. Fractional shares will be paid in cash based on the stock’s market value on the record date. Commerce Bancshares also declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.275 per common share, payable December 21; shares issued through the stock dividend will not qualify for that cash payment.
