Commerce.com partners with Cloudflare to bring AI shopping to BigCommerce stores
CMRC•Commerce.com partnered with Cloudflare to let browser-based AI agents shop on BigCommerce stores using WebMCP. The feature is enabled by default for eligible merchants, who can disable it.
1. AI agent shopping
The feature lets agents access current product prices and inventory, add items to carts and direct shoppers to merchant checkout. Merchants retain control of checkout and customer relationships, and no coding or site changes are required.
