Commvault secured the Leader position in the 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Backup and Data Protection Platforms for the 15th straight year, earning top marks for Completeness of Vision and Ability to Execute. This recurring designation highlights the company’s sustained innovation and execution capabilities in enterprise-scale data protection.
2. Platform Expansion
Over the past year, Commvault enhanced its AI-enabled Cloud Unity platform with support for modern workloads including Azure Databricks, GitHub, GitLab, BigQuery and monday.com. The release also integrates Satori’s data-security risk analysis and adds Okta identity resilience to strengthen protection across hybrid and cloud environments.

Commvault’s Resilience Operations (ResOps) vision unifies data security, identity resilience, cyber recovery, AI resilience and operational response within a single platform.
