Commvault Adds Hitachi Vantara and NetApp to Flex Ecosystem for Scalable AI Resilience
Commvault expanded its Flex ecosystem to include Hitachi Vantara and NetApp integrations, enabling scalable cyber recovery on high-performance flash storage. The company's AI-ready solution targets petabyte-scale datasets with independent compute and storage scaling, aiming to reduce overprovisioning and costs while meeting strict SLAs.
1. Ecosystem Expansion
Commvault has extended its Flex partner ecosystem to include integrations with Hitachi Vantara’s VSP One platform and NetApp’s enterprise-grade storage. These additions join existing partners Everpure, HPE, and VAST Data, offering customers broader choice in flash storage for data protection and cyber recovery.
2. Scalable AI-Ready Resilience
Flexible architecture allows independent scaling of compute and storage to support multi-petabyte AI-generated datasets. Purpose-built for high-performance flash pools, the solution aims to accelerate system recovery, reduce overprovisioning, and uphold stringent service level agreements.
3. Availability and Pricing
General availability is slated for this summer, with pricing determined by selected server and storage configurations. Commvault delivers the Flex models as software images installable on validated hardware to maintain consistency with preferred storage vendors.
