Conexeu says CXU preclinical program completes 12-month P.R.O.O.F. phase, meets objectives
CNXU•Preclinical program reaches 12-month milestone
Conexeu disclosed completion of the 12-month P.R.O.O.F. phase in its CXU preclinical program for an ECM-based biomaterial scaffold.
- The study met predefined objectives in a small-volume facial tissue model, and also in a large-volume subcutaneous model at about 200cc-equivalent volume.
- The company said the program is investigational and in the preclinical stage, positioning CXU as a multi-component collagen-ECM scaffold for soft-tissue restoration.
- Detailed 12-month findings, quantitative analyses, and histology endpoints were held for scientific presentation, and for peer-reviewed publication.
- Conexeu noted that those preclinical volumes do not establish appropriate or safe dosing levels in humans.
