ConocoPhillips agrees to acquire stake in BP Kirkuk unit

July 17 (Reuters) - ConocoPhillips COP.N said on Friday it had agreed to acquire a 42% stake in BP Energy Company of Kirkuk Limited from BP BP.L, supporting redevelopment of four producing oilfields in northern Iraq's Kirkuk area.
