Consolidated Water Names Veteran With 25 Years of Experience as SVP of Strategy and Growth
CWCO•Consolidated Water appointed Sachin Chawla as senior VP of strategy and growth to oversee business development and M&A. The company posted record 2025 retail volumes and saw Q1 growth from its new Cat Island plant, with Q2 commissioning of a second facility and a planned 1.7 million gallon-per-day Hawaii project.
1. Executive Appointment
Consolidated Water has appointed Sachin Chawla as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Growth. Chawla will direct the company’s business development, sales and marketing activities and support M&A and broader growth initiatives aligned with its strategic plan.
2. 2025 Operational Milestones
In 2025 the company achieved record retail water volume in Grand Cayman, increased cash and working capital to support execution, and secured new U.S. water treatment contracts in Colorado and California expected to contribute revenue in 2026.
3. Q1 2026 Performance
During the first quarter of 2026, the company registered growth in its bulk and services segments, driven by revenue from its newly commissioned Cat Island desalination facility in The Bahamas and continued strength in its operations and maintenance business.
4. Pipeline Projects
Looking ahead, the company plans to commission a second Cat Island plant in Q2 2026 and to commence construction later this year on a 1.7 million gallon-per-day desalination project in Hawaii, expanding its capacity and geographic footprint.
