Constellation Brands Q2 FY2027 net sales rise 6% on Beer, Wine & Spirits growth
STZ•Constellation Brands said Q2 fiscal 2027 net sales rose 6%, comparable operating income increased 1% and comparable EPS climbed 3% to $3.74. The company maintained its full-year outlook of $11.20-$11.90 in comparable EPS.
1. Beer and wine growth
Beer net sales rose more than 5% as shipment volume grew 5.5%, while pricing net of mix was roughly flat. Beer operating margin fell 160 basis points to 39.0%, as higher marketing and SG&A costs outweighed lower tariff expense and favorable fixed-cost absorption. Wine and spirits net sales rose 17% on shipment growth of 15.4%; depletions increased 10.2%, led by Kim Crawford and Mi CAMPO.
2. Outlook maintained
Constellation Brands kept its outlook unchanged, forecasting comparable EPS of $11.20-$11.90, operating cash flow of $2.4-$2.5 billion and free cash flow of $1.6-$1.7 billion.
