Copart To Acquire ACV, Expanding Position Across The Vehicle Remarketing Ecosystem
ACVA•Copart to buy ACV in cash deal
Sept. 10 (Reuters) - Copart said it will acquire ACV Auctions Inc. for $10.50 per share in cash, valuing the deal at $1.90 billion in equity value.
Copart said it expects to fund the transaction with cash on hand and that there is no financing condition.
Deal structure and expected impact
Copart said the deal is expected to be accretive to Copart EPS in fiscal 2028 and beyond.
ACV will operate as an independent subsidiary of Copart led by its existing leadership team.
