Corcel Exploration Starts 1,500m Drill Program, Completes 10km IP Survey at Yuma King
Corcel Exploration began a 1,500m Phase 1 diamond drilling program across 6-8 sites at its Yuma King copper-gold project in Arizona after completing site preparation and a 10km induced polarization survey. The campaign aims to validate historical mineralized zones, expand skarn targets and test deeper porphyry potential.
1. Phase 1 Drilling Underway
Drilling has commenced at the Yuma King Project following site preparation and pad construction. The fully permitted Phase 1 program will deliver approximately 1,500 metres of diamond drilling across 6–8 drill sites targeting known skarn mineralization at Yuma King Mine and step-out porphyry targets.
2. Program Objectives
The drill campaign is designed to confirm historical mineralized intercepts, expand known zones along strike and down dip, and test new targets generated by integrated geophysical and geochemical data. A key goal is to assess the scale and continuity of a broader copper-gold system beneath the skarn deposits.
3. IP Survey Completion
A 10 line-kilometre, 2D pole-dipole induced polarization survey has just wrapped up over Yuma King Mine and Yuma King West. Interpretation of the data is underway to refine drill targets and improve understanding of subsurface chargeability anomalies linked to mineralization.
