CoreCivic names Lucibeth Mayberry CEO, replaces Patrick Swindle on board

CoreCivic named Lucibeth N. Mayberry president, CEO and director after Patrick D. Swindle resigned those roles for health reasons.

Mayberry has served as CoreCivic’s executive vice president and chief strategy officer since May 2025. She previously held executive vice president roles in innovation and real estate, and joined the company in May 2003.
