CoreCivic posted Q2 net income of USD 37.1 million, down 3.6% from the prior-year quarter, while diluted EPS rose 5.7% to USD 0.37.
Revenue climbed 27.3% to USD 684.9 million, driven by lower operating costs and slightly higher ICE populations.
Adjusted EBITDA increased 5.9% to USD 109.4 million, as activations of previously idle facilities lifted results.

Subsequent to quarter-end, it sold four detention facilities to the U.S. government for USD 2.2 billion, targeting about USD 1.6 billion net proceeds.
The board expanded share repurchase authorization by USD 500 million to USD 1.2 billion, leaving USD 755.8 million available; 2026 net income guidance was raised to USD 1.5-1.52 billion.
