1. Exchange Deployment in Miami and Virginia

CoreSite has integrated Community IX’s FL-IX and CIX-NoVA internet exchanges into its Miami (MI1) and Northern Virginia (VA1) data centers, marking Community IX’s first presence in the world’s largest connectivity market since CIX-NoVA launched in August 2025 and extending regional reach in Southern Florida.

2. High-Capacity, Multi-Speed Connectivity

The new exchanges support 10G, 100G and 400G port speeds with competitive pricing, span over 25 data center sites, and interconnect more than 225 networks with aggregate capacity exceeding 35Tbps, enhancing network performance and reducing latency for ISPs, content providers and enterprises.

3. Strategic Impact on CoreSite’s Ecosystem

This collaboration strengthens CoreSite’s interconnection platform by offering low-cost, transparent peering services, bolsters its competitive positioning in high-demand Southeastern U.S. markets, and has the potential to drive additional colocation and interconnection revenue for American Tower’s data center business.
