CoreWeave Begins Revenue Operations with First Data Hall Delivery from Galaxy Digital
CoreWeave received its first blockchain data hall from Galaxy Digital, transitioning the project into revenue-generating operations. The milestone follows Galaxy Digital’s Q1 narrower net loss of $216 million, underscoring improved project execution and potential for increased data center capacity utilization.
1. First Data Hall Delivery
CoreWeave took delivery of its inaugural blockchain data hall from Galaxy Digital, marking the end of the construction phase and readiness for hardware deployment. This facility is designed to house high-density GPU and ASIC servers to support crypto mining and machine learning workloads.
2. Transition to Revenue Operations
With the handover complete, CoreWeave will begin hosting client computing workloads and generating contract revenue. Initial operational tests and system integrations are expected to conclude within the coming quarter, triggering billing milestones.
3. Strategic Capacity Expansion
This delivery validates CoreWeave’s build-and-deliver model and sets the stage for further data hall rollouts under existing agreements. Expanded capacity will enhance its position in GPU-based infrastructure markets and support scaling with additional enterprise and research clients.
