Corporación América Airports says Argentina shifts passenger tariffs to U.S. dollars, lifts domestic fee to USD 9 by 2027
CAAP•Argentina will denominate passenger tariffs in U.S. dollars and raise the domestic passenger use fee to USD 9 by Jan. 1, 2027. The decision also extends Aeropuertos Argentina’s concession to February 2056.
1. Tariff changes and concession
Argentina issued an administrative decision rebalancing Aeropuertos Argentina’s concession and extending it to February 2056. Passenger tariffs will be denominated in U.S. dollars; the domestic passenger use fee will rise to USD 9 by Jan. 1, 2027, while the regional fee remains USD 25.16 and applies to flights up to 1,000 km by that date. The concession fee remains 15% of gross revenue, and a new economic plan targets a 14.30% IRR with triennial reviews.
