Corporación América Airports posted a 6.7% year-on-year rise in February passenger traffic, led by a 14.1% surge in international travelers and a 12.3% increase in transit passengers. Cargo volume climbed 6.0% despite declines in Italy and Brazil, while total aircraft movements rose 2.8%.

Total passenger traffic reached 6.745 million in February, up 6.7% from 6.322 million a year ago. Domestic travelers edged up 0.2% to 3.299 million, international traffic jumped 14.1% to 2.786 million and transit passengers rose 12.3% to 660,000.
2. Regional Performance Breakdown
Argentina led growth with 4.019 million passengers (+5.8%), driven by a 17.8% international increase despite a 0.4% domestic dip due to strike action and fleet constraints. Italy saw 542,000 travelers (+7.4%) as international volumes rose 10.6% but domestic fell 2.2%. Brazil served 1.267 million passengers (+8.2%), with domestic up 1.6% and transit surging 17.3%.

Cargo volume reached 31.4 thousand tons, up 6.0% YoY, although Italy and Brazil saw declines of 16.8% and 17.8% respectively. Total aircraft movements climbed 2.8% to 66.0 thousand, led by Armenia (+11.1%) and Uruguay (+6.9%), while Brazil recorded a slight 0.6% drop.
