Cosmos Health expands Athens distribution center with automated order-processing and vehicle-loading systems
COSM•Cosmos Health’s CosmoFarm is commissioning automated systems at its Peristeri distribution center, an investment intended to speed processing and deliveries. The company says ongoing automation could support annual revenue above $120 million, compared with a second-quarter 2026 annualized run rate above $60 million.
1. Distribution center automation
CosmoFarm is commissioning automated order-processing and vehicle-loading infrastructure at its distribution center in Peristeri, western Athens. The investment aims to shorten processing and loading times, enable earlier deliveries and serve more pharmacies per route at limited incremental cost.
2. Capacity and acquisition plans
The company says ongoing automation investments could support annual revenue exceeding $120 million, compared with an annualized run rate above $60 million in second-quarter 2026. Expanded capacity also supports acquisitions of pharmaceutical distribution networks in Greece. A proposed network acquisition remains at the letter-of-intent stage; the target generates approximately €10 million ($11.3 million) in annual gross revenue.
