COSM•Cosmos Health launched Oliv18™, a USDA and EU organic certified whole olive polyphenol supplement offering 250mg daily doses that meet EFSA’s 5mg/day hydroxytyrosol for LDL protection. The product targets the $2.11B U.S. cardiovascular and $1.66B antioxidant markets, which are projected to jointly exceed $33B globally by 2035.
Cosmos Health has introduced Oliv18™ in the United States as part of its 18 Series nutraceutical platform, expanding into cardiovascular and antioxidant categories. The launch underscores the company’s strategy to diversify its product portfolio with science-driven supplements.
Oliv18™ is derived from whole olive tree extracts sourced from the Moroccan Saharan desert, produced via a 100% solvent-free process. It holds USDA and EU organic certifications, ensuring no hydrolysis or wastewater processing and standardization to hydroxytyrosol and oleuropein.
Each 250mg daily dose delivers polyphenols equivalent to approximately 11 teaspoons of extra virgin olive oil and meets the European Food Safety Authority’s minimum 5mg/day hydroxytyrosol requirement for LDL oxidation protection. Hydroxytyrosol is acknowledged as the highest ORAC polyphenol.
The U.S. cardiovascular health supplements market was valued at $2.11 billion in 2024 and is projected to reach $3.27 billion by 2030, while the antioxidant market is estimated at $1.66 billion in 2025 and set to nearly double by 2035. Combined global revenues for these categories are expected to exceed $33 billion by 2035.
