Cosmos Health partners with Libytec to commercialize DIABIT-IS X in Greece

Cosmos Health entered a five-year distribution and promotion partnership with Libytec to commercialize its DIABIT-IS X diabetes drug in Greece.

• Cosmos will supply DIABIT-IS X (sitagliptin); Libytec will manage distribution, medical information, and promotion across physicians, pharmacies, and hospitals.
• DIABIT-IS X is a generic alternative to Merck’s Januvia; Januvia and Janumet generated about $4.5 billion in global sales in 2022.
• The product is expected to be accessible via Greece’s national health insurance system, supporting broader patient reach.
