Cosmos Health Unveils Capsule Line, Lands 5-Year 385,000-Unit CERTORUN® Contract
COSM•Cosmos Health's Cana Laboratories has inaugurated a new ACG capsule-filling line and secured a five-year agreement to manufacture 385,000 units of CERTORUN® (77,000 units annually) in 50mg and 100mg strengths. The expansion enhances its GMP-certified capacity and underpins high-margin recurring revenue from contract manufacturing.
1. New Capsule Production Line
Cana Laboratories inaugurated a state-of-the-art ACG automatic capsule-filling line at its European GMP-certified facility, boosting throughput for hard-gelatin capsules. The investment is part of Cosmos Health’s strategy to modernize and expand manufacturing capabilities for pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals.
2. Five-Year CERTORUN® Manufacturing Agreement
Under the new contract, Cana will produce 385,000 units of CERTORUN® (sertraline hydrochloride) over five years, equating to 77,000 units annually in 50mg and 100mg strengths. The agreement includes BTx30 blister packaging and builds on existing collaborations with Provident Pharmaceuticals.
