Costco Opens on Presidents Day, Adds Evening Hours and Executive Early Access

In late 2025, Costco reinstated early shopping hours exclusively for its $130 Executive members, enhancing the premium tier’s value proposition and encouraging membership upgrades and renewals.
2. Saturday Evening Shopping Hour
An extra shopping hour on Saturday evenings was added for all members to alleviate weekend congestion, improve store traffic flow and capture additional after-work sales.
3. Extended Fuel Station Operations
Approximately a year ago, Costco lengthened its fuel station operating hours to accommodate early-morning and late-night fill-ups, further increasing member convenience and potential fuel revenue.
4. Presidents Day Opening
Costco will remain open on Presidents Day, ensuring one fewer holiday closure and offering members added flexibility to shop during the long weekend and drive incremental holiday sales.
