Credicorp Appoints 3 Directors, Reelects 6 and Realigns Committees
Credicorp Ltd appointed three directors—María Inés Álvarez, Juan Paredes Manrique and Manuel Romero Valdez—for March 2026–March 2029 and reelected six incumbents at its March shareholder meeting. Luis Enrique Romero Belismelis was named chair and audit, sustainability, risk and compensation committees were realigned to bolster AI and governance expertise.
1. Board Elections and Appointments
Shareholders approved appointments of María Inés Álvarez, Juan Paredes Manrique and Manuel Romero Valdez to the Board for the March 2026–March 2029 term, succeeding Antonio Abruña Puyol, Alexandre Gouvêa and Patricia Lizárraga Guthertz. Six existing directors were also reelected at the March annual meeting.
2. Leadership Changes
At its April 1 Board meeting, Luis Enrique Romero Belismelis was appointed Chairman of the Board and Raimundo Morales Dasso was named Vice Chairman, marking a strategic refresh of the Board’s leadership.
3. Committee Realignment
The Board approved new compositions for the Audit, Sustainability, Risk and Compensation & Nominations Committees. Independent directors were assigned to chair roles and memberships were realigned to strengthen oversight in technology, AI and financial governance.
