Drivers of the quarter
- Lower dividend income: The company said the decrease in total investment income was primarily driven by lower dividend income from its Logan JV investment.
- Reduced repayment activity: Lower accelerated amortization and prepayment fee income reflected reduced repayment and refinancing activity in the quarter.
- Higher interest income: Higher recurring interest income from investments partially offset declines in other income sources.
