Critical Metals Secures 15% Phase 1 Greenland Rare Earth Output for 15 Years
CRML•Critical Metals Corp locked in a 15-year offtake deal securing 15% of monthly Phase 1 heavy rare earth output from the fully-permitted Tanbreez deposit in Greenland. The project, holding one of the world’s largest Dysprosium and Terbium resources, complements its Sheep Creek and Hoidas Lake assets.
1. 15-Year Offtake Agreement
Critical Metals Corp has signed a definitive 15-year offtake agreement covering 15% of monthly Phase 1 production from the Tanbreez heavy rare earth deposit in southern Greenland, securing long-term supply of Dysprosium and Terbium.
2. Tanbreez Deposit Overview
The Tanbreez project holds one of the largest known Western-aligned heavy rare earth resources, is fully permitted, and offers a Western-controlled source of critical magnet materials outside China following a 92.5% acquisition earlier this year.
3. Complementary Asset Portfolio
This offtake deal adds to Critical Metals’ existing rights to up to 10% of production from the high-grade Sheep Creek deposit in Montana and its control of the Hoidas Lake asset in Saskatchewan.
4. Strategic Defense Supply Impact
By supplying heavy rare earths essential for NdFeB permanent magnets used in missile systems, fighter aircraft, and radar platforms, the agreement bolsters a U.S.-aligned supply chain ahead of a Pentagon ban on Chinese-origin materials.
