CrowdStrike integrates Falcon Shield with Qualtrics XM to bolster security

CRWDCRWD

CrowdStrike has integrated its Falcon Shield with the Qualtrics XM Platform, enabling real-time monitoring of user activity, permissions and configurations, automatic risk remediation and policy enforcement. This update follows Anthropic’s unveiling of a built-in Claude AI security feature that triggered a sector-wide sell-off.

1. Qualtrics XM Integration

CrowdStrike has linked Falcon Shield with Qualtrics’ XM Platform, offering real-time monitoring of user activity, permissions, configurations and data access within customer and employee experience programs. The integration uses Falcon Shield APIs for streamlined deployment, automates policy-based remediation of misconfigurations and irregular access, and aims to reduce risk, improve compliance and strengthen data security in AI-driven workflows. Separately, CrowdStrike expanded its partnership with Microsoft by making the Falcon platform available through the Microsoft Marketplace, enabling customers to apply Azure Consumption Commitment agreements toward Falcon purchases for accelerated rollout across devices, cloud services, identity management and data environments.

2. Anthropic Claude AI Security Feature Impact

Anthropic introduced a built-in security feature in its Claude AI model, triggering a sell-off in cybersecurity stocks, including CrowdStrike. Investors reacted to the perceived boost in in-house AI security capabilities, putting pressure on third-party security vendors.
