Crown Castle names insider Kris Hinson as CFO

Sept. 14 (Reuters) - Telecom infrastructure company Crown Castle on Monday said insider Kris Hinson would take over as its finance chief after the retirement of predecessor Sunit Patel.
Hinson, 43, currently serves as the company's chief commercial officer and will take over the new role effective April 1 next year.
Other leadership changes and recent company updates
- Hinson, who joined the company in 2023 according to his LinkedIn profile, previously spent 13 years at ExxonMobil in several finance leadership roles.
- Crown Castle's operations chief, Cathy Piche, will also step down on September 23 to pursue other opportunities and a search for her successor is underway, the company said in the statement.
- In July, the company raised its annual forecast for site rental revenue amid strong demand for its data consumption and wireless infrastructure services.
- It also raised its full-year target for adjusted funds from operations, signaling stronger recurring cash flow.
- Crown Castle had announced 20% job cuts in February, following the sale of its fiber assets last year.
