Crown Castle Names Kris Hinson CCO and Mark Lennon CIO, Promotes Hamilton West
Crown Castle named Kris Hinson Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer to oversee commercial strategy and customer relationships, and appointed Mark Lennon Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer to lead data, digital transformation and information security. Hamilton West became Vice President – Corporate Finance and Treasurer replacing Hinson.
1. Executive Leadership Changes
Crown Castle promoted Kris Hinson from VP – Corporate Finance and Treasurer to Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer and appointed Mark Lennon as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer. These changes align the executive team with the company’s focus on tower operations and customer engagement.
2. Commercial and Digital Strategy Mandate
In his new role, Hinson will manage customer commercial relationships and overall commercial strategy to drive revenue across the 40,000-tower portfolio. Lennon will lead data management, digital transformation efforts, AI integration and information security to enhance network reliability and customer experience.
3. Finance Leadership Transition
Hamilton West succeeded Hinson as Vice President – Corporate Finance and Treasurer, overseeing treasury, investor relations and strategic planning functions. Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Cathy Piche continues to focus on asset management and customer service delivery.
