Crypto-related stocks advance as bitcoin hits two-week high
COIN•Crypto-related stocks rose as bitcoin gained nearly 2.2% to $84,604.73, its highest level since October 7. Coinbase added 4.3%, Strategy rose 7.6% and spot bitcoin ETFs gained nearly 2.5%.
1. Crypto stocks rise
Bitcoin gained nearly 2.2% to $84,604.73, its highest level since October 7, while ether rose 2.5% to $2,508.02. Coinbase Global added 4.3%, Strategy rose 7.6% and Robinhood Markets advanced 4.1%.
2. Miners and funds gain
Riot Platforms rose 2%, Mara Holdings gained 3.8% and Bit Digital added 5.4%. American Bitcoin gained 12.2%, Hut 8 rose 2% and Circle Internet advanced 5.3%. ProShares Bitcoin ETF and iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF each gained nearly 2.5%. Despite the gains, bitcoin remained down 3.5% year to date and ether was down roughly 15.8%.
