Aug. 31 (Reuters) - CSL:
- CSL enters agreements with the U.S. government to lower drug prices and support investment in U.S. manufacturing
- CSL Ltd: agreements support lower prices for CSL therapies and reflect CSL's $1.5 billion plan to expand its U.S. manufacturing capacity in Illinois
- CSL: entered into onshoring agreement with the U.S. Department of Commerce
- CSL Ltd: project is expected to create at least 300 new pharmaceutical manufacturing jobs and approximately 800 construction and related jobs
- CSL: does not anticipate any material impact during fiscal year 2027
- CSL: agreements provide CSL with additional certainty regarding exposure to U.S. drug pricing and certain Section 232 tariffs
- CSL: project to substantially increase co's ability to produce immunoglobulins and albumin for people with rare diseases and serious conditions
