CSL teams with Alentis on lixudebart; pays USD 355 million upfront
CSL•CSL will pay Alentis USD 355 million upfront in an exclusive global collaboration to develop and commercialize lixudebart, with up to USD 1.2 billion tied to commercial milestones.
1. Development and commercial terms
CSL and Alentis will jointly develop, co-promote and commercialize lixudebart for rare kidney and liver diseases. CSL will fully fund the ongoing Phase 2 RENAL trial, a planned Phase 3 program in AAV-RPGN, and Phase 2 studies in FSGS and PSC. Once lixudebart is commercialized, global profits will be split 55% to CSL and 45% to Alentis.
