Curis doses first five patients in TakeAim CLL combo trial of emavusertib, zanubrutinib
CRIS•TakeAim CLL trial reaches first five patients
Curis dosed the first five patients in its TakeAim CLL Phase 2 study testing emavusertib with zanubrutinib in chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
Initial results have not been presented; early CLL data in 5–10 patients is expected in December 2026.
The study targets patients with residual disease despite long-term zanubrutinib, aiming to deepen responses and support a fixed-duration treatment approach.
Management flagged early signs that the emavusertib-zanubrutinib combination is tolerable, with early indications of improved responses in a small group.
