Daiichi Sankyo’s Datroway won European Commission clearance for first-line unresectable or metastatic TNBC patients ineligible for PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors.
The decision relied on Phase 3 TROPION-Breast02 data showing median overall survival of 23.7 months vs. 18.7 months with chemotherapy.
Datroway is co-developed with AstraZeneca; it is now cleared in the EU for two breast cancer indications.
