Dakota Gold selected a single heap-leach facility site within the Phase 1 area and a 0.5-inch crush size for the Richmond Hill oxide heap-leach pre-feasibility study. Recent metallurgical testing showed modeled ultimate gold recovery averaging 80.4% at 0.5 inch, versus 75.9% at 1 inch.
2. Study timeline
Final assays for the PFS resource update covered 42,791 meters of 2025–2026 drilling across 333 holes. The PFS is targeted for Q4 2026, a feasibility study is expected in mid-2027, and the company has a production goal as soon as 2029.
