Danaher appointed Daniel L. Comas and Robert Hershberg to its board on Oct. 9, 2026, expanding the board to 13 directors from 11. Hershberg joined the Science and Technology Committee; he previously led HilleVax as CEO and chairman through September 2025. Comas was a Danaher executive vice president from 2005 to 2020 and CFO from 2005 to 2018.
2. Director retirement
Alan G. Spoon will not stand for reelection at the 2027 annual meeting and will retire from the board then.
