Danaher unit Cepheid will unveil a third-generation GeneXpert PCR system at ADLM 2026 on July 28.

The new platform targets broader molecular diagnostics on one system, with support planned for high-plex panels, faster results, and sample-to-answer workflows.

Initial launch centers on a four-module configuration, with U.S. shipments expected to begin in coming months.

Higher-capacity GeneXpert systems, including GeneXpert Infinity, remain in development.
